Loopcom Privacy Policy

Loopcom is the business phone app operated by Connect Communications. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. In short: we only collect what is needed to run your business phone service, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, business phone extension, and organization, provided when your account is created.
• Calls, voicemail, and messages — call history (numbers, times, durations), voicemail recordings, and messages you send or receive. This is the core of the phone service we provide to you.
• Contacts — only if you choose to import them, your device contacts are used to show names for incoming and outgoing calls. Importing is optional and started by you.
• Device and push tokens — technical identifiers issued by Apple and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) that let us ring your phone and deliver notifications for calls, voicemails, and messages.
• Microphone and camera — the microphone is used only to carry your voice during calls and recordings you choose to make; the camera is used only to scan setup QR codes. Neither is accessed for any other purpose.
• Diagnostics — basic technical logs (such as whether a call connected, audio quality metrics, and app errors) used to keep the service reliable.

How we use it

Solely to provide and improve the phone service: connecting your calls, delivering voicemail and messages, ringing your devices, showing caller names, and fixing problems. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Sharing

Information is shared only with the service providers required to operate the service (for example, Apple’s and Google’s push notification services to ring your phone, telephone carriers to connect calls, and our hosting providers), and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

Call history, voicemail, and messages are retained as part of your organization’s service and can be deleted from within the app. When an account is closed, its data is deleted from our active systems within a reasonable period. You may request deletion at any time using the contact below.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers.

Children

Loopcom is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
